With the growing accessibility of smartphones, we are developing the first ever trilingual, menstrual cycle tracking app in Swahili, Maa, and English. This innovative platform will not only provide vital information about menstrual health but will also support women with resources for pregnancy, maternal health, and overall reproductive wellness. By sharing knowledge, the app aims to empower women with the tools to understand and take control of their health journey.

The core objectives of Mwandamo as an organization are to establish a Health Centre strategically located in Arusha, Tanzania, to provide accessible healthcare for all women in the community. The Centre will implement a flexible fee structure to accommodate diverse financial situations, ensuring inclusivity. It will offer a range of services tailored to women’s needs, including nutritional guidance, mental health support, maternity care, and postpartum assistance. Through holistic and nurturing care, Mwandamo seeks to empower women and mothers with the knowledge and resources to understand their bodies better, with the ultimate goal of improving women’s health outcomes across Tanzania.
